SuckSeed Story

SuckSeed is a thai comedy film starring Pachara Chirathivat (played Koong and Kay), Jirayu La-ongmanee (Ped), Nattasha Nauljam (Ern), Thawat Pornrattanaprasert (Ex). This film was aired on the year 2011, it was March 17 and directed by Chayanop Boonprakob.

Story:

Ern is a music lover girl who always listen to music. Her parents own a cassette shop. She wants to be a in a band when she grow up and record her own songs, that was she told Ped while they are on their way out in the campus. Ped sucks on music, he can't sing and shy. Koong and Kay are twins both of them love music. Ped and Ern became close and Ped has a crush on her. Ern told Ped about music and let Ped borrow a cassette tape and telling him that she wants to hear Ped sing a song, Ped was delighted but Ern will be transferring to another place and left Ped, but before that Ped went to Koong's place and borrow a guitar and a songlist. he told Koong he wants to learn guitar. Koong, Kay and Ped are friends for long.  Ped then practice and played the guitar, of course it sucks, he keeps playing it and record it so he can give it to Ern.
Ped called Ern to tell something that is he like Ern but he lied, instead of telling his name he told he was Koong. Soon in the school Ern were teased since other classmate told that Koong is fond with Ern. Ern stoodup and told Koong that she didn't like it being teased so she cried. Ern then leave their town and Ped was unable to give the cassette and he just kept it.
They are teens when they meet each other, Ern went back and transfered for some reason on its final year. Ern became so lovely and Ped realized it that she had seen Ern during a concert. It was fate then.
There  was a band competition for schools and since Koong wants to create a band he ask Ped and Ex to be his band mate. After the band of Kay was disbanded he join another band from there school. Meanwhile Koong seeks for band mates and choose Ex,is very active and witty and fond drums, he will the drummer of the group but Ex got injured while playing basketball. Soon Koong invited Ern to be his band mate since Ern is good with instrument to, base guitar.

The studio's schedule are full so Ex bring the band to his place at top of the bakery they own. They clean the room and make it their studio, so they can practice. Now a group of four teens practice everyday to win in the contest. They will create a love song which does not have a "love" on  its lyrics. They find it hard to write a song since all of them are not in a relation so they cannot relate. Ped was assigned to write a song and he tails Ex as his guide since Ex has a crush on someone. Still Ped have difficulty on creating a song. Koong and Ern became a bit close. Koong found a song written by Ped and it seems like he likes it, that was a song Ped written for Ern that he like. Koong ask Ped if he like Ern and Ped stubbornly deny it. Ern, Koong and Ped went to a concert and Koong start to court Ern but then he was rejected by Ern, Koong got angry and told Ern to quit from the band and so she quit. Ex finally wants to tell to the girl he has crush on but a boyish girl get the girl first. Both Kong and Ex were broken hearted. They ride a train and drunk.

Ped gave to Ern the cassette which he kept from a long time and Ern remember it when he hear little Ped singing the song way back grade school. Ped got a call from Ern and she asked if Ped likes her in romantically. Ped then stubbornly denied it again. He realize that he should tell it to Ern so he went to Ern's place and the moment the door open, Ped shouted and told "Don't open it', Ped began singing a song for Ern, after he sing it he told to open now and he was shock he sew Ern's grandma and Ern hearing it.
They talk outside and sing some song. Both were in-love and finally Ped told Ern that he likes her since. Ern then told Ped that she also likes Ped. After that they became really close like they are together.

They finish a song and start to record it. They send the CD to the judges  and waited if they pass the preliminary round. They waited for the radio to announce one after another band. As soon as the last band is yet to be announce and due to excitement Koong turn off the radio and they were arguing when they turn the radio on they didn't hear their band name. Ped got a call from Ern and congratulate them saying they got passed. They then celebrate.
On the day of the final round. Koong found out that Ped and Ern are dating and his jealous and felt cheated. When their turn come and they began singing Koong suddenly stop and walk out from the stage. Their friendship was likely broken. Ern and Kay which is in the same band declared to be the winner and became very popular.

A year passed and they have a reunion was made and all of them gathered. Ern and Ped talks and Ern asked if how was Ped and Koong situation. Koong stopped to play as well as Ped and Ex. With a serious face Ped stood up in the stage and bring his guitar singing there first compose song. Koong walks away but still Ped continue to sing. Koong went to his twin Kay and borrow a pick. He run into the stage grab the base guitar and look to Ped saying, I'll never forget that ( He meant the time when they were in the train drunk comforting each other). Ex then run and sit on the drums and sing their song wildly. Ern cries for joy it is because their friendship is now rebuild.

Story begin:

The story begins in the airport where both are going to board a plane going to Korea with their various reasons. The young man which was alias as Dang wants to go to Korea where his love is staying for some reason Dang and her girlfriend broke up it because after eight years or being in a relationship Dang is not yet ready to marry his girl. Meanwhile, May wants to go to Korea to attend to a wedding of her friend and aside from that exploring the Korea spots where Korean drama where shot. She lied to her boyfriend of going into Korea. Boarding the same aircraft they went to Korea. Dang was in a tour agency since he cannot understand Korean language and know a little about English language. Dang is in hurry and bring only few clothes, it was cold in Korea. On the first day only May enjoy the place unlike Dang who spends sleeping and doing nothing at all.

The day ends and Dang finds himself outside to eat, without a knowledge of local language he buy dog meat by accident, he was drunk after then. On his way home he mistakenly got in a backpackers inn where our May is staying. Dang fall asleep in the entrance of the inn. May just pass him but eventually help him by dragging him inside the inn giving her coat to warm Dang.

The next day as May go to pick here coat Dang suddenly wakeup and ask what is it. It was already time that his tour guide bus will leave the city to go another city. He ask May to bring him into the Hotel and find themselves both Thai when Dang begin to utter words in Thai. He ask May to the place where he stays at the hotel. May told him the direction but it seems to be difficult for new comers. He ask May to bring him into that hotel. Meanwhile on the same time, a beggar rode the tour guide bus and sleep. Unknowingly the tour guide asked if all are present and she saw a person covered in blanket and think that it was Dang. They soon left leaving the real Dang.

May bring Dang in the hotel but it is the wrong one. The tour guide left that time then. Dang don't know much about Korea and begin to stalk to May which is on her way to enjoy her day on Korea. May noticed Dang and she ran to the train station but eventually came back to save Dang which is being held by local security after by passing the train tickets toll. After apologizing Dang was release and talk to May about his situation. With conscience May allow Dang to stay to her as they went to different places.

Both of them don't know each other's name. It was there deal that they should not introduced themselves so they can speak what is in there mind.

They begin to get along as Dang teased her and make her a laugh while doing stupid things. That was when May smiles and being to be comfortable with Dang. They went to different place on their first day together. That night as they eat Dang's naughtiness starts and begin to wit on Korean foods and May has to go along even it is against with her, they soon start to laugh and get to know each other. The cook gave Dang an octopus meat and he was tease by May. May teases Dang to eat the whole octopus( small one okay) and told him she will drink a bottle of soju . Dang eat the octopus leaving May no choice but to drink the soju. Both of them drink and got drank.

May find out that she was on Dangs place when she wakes up after she got drank. She went to the bathroom to pee and find out Dang was there and she shouted and screaming. She think that Dang do something weird with her. Dang, manly told her that nothing happens. May's phone ring and when she opened it more than 200 miss calls registered from her boyfriend. May then pick the phone and begin to explain why she was not able to get the call. Her boyfriend now knows that May lied to him. May explained that all she wants is to attend to her friend's wedding and telling him the truth will surely his boyfriend will not allowed her to go to Korea. They argued on the phone, in the end, they break up. Dang was laughing and teasing her. Both of them broken hearted. Dang begin to accompany May as friend to make her happy after the break up since he himself has experienced it. May cut the key lock that she put on a famous bridge where loves use to put a lock and throw that keys in the water. I forgot to tell you these on at first, my bad. Anyway lets continue. Both of them are broken hearted. They went to other place and enjoy that day shopping, eating and strolling around. On that night both of them sit on the road and look into the stars. May told Dang that she wants to see the snow, if she saw it she wants to undress and play with it. Dang replied, that she do it. He also told May that if he saw a snow the first thing he will  do is to taste it. Both of them enjoy the night of being together. They didn't do that okay, you know what I mean.

On the third day. Dang went back to the Hotel and his tour guide picks him up and headed to the next city, it was a goodbye for both of them. As soon as the bus leaves the tour guide said that it is still snowing on the in Korea on the other city, Dang recalls that May wants to see snow. He asked the guide to stop the bus, he run as fast as he could till he saw May and told her that "it's still snowing in the countryside". A smile can be seen on both them as they begin to be together again. It's likely that they enjoy each others company after those days being together. Both of them went to May's friend place that one that will be getting married. They were welcome and chat with each other about there favorites stars and films. They get along well. That night, Dang borrow May's phone, he said he wants to call someone. Dang call someone but it wasn't answered. May saw that and thought that something is not going well with Dang. She told Dang about a DJ where she used to listen in the radio. May picks the phone a begin to dial falsely and gave it to Dang. As he answered May acts as she was the DJ and begin asking Dang about his problem. Dang told some but not all and told her that it was her girlfriend. The reason why he came to Korea is to reflect himself. He refused to marry his girlfriend after eight years in relationship. They broke up since Dang's girlfriend wants to marry and yet Dang is not ready. May give an advice to Dang that night and they begin to understand each other, both where broken hearted to start with. The next morning May asked Dang to send a postcard to his girlfriend.

The went to a shop to buy a wedding gift. Dang went outside and was found by his girlfriend friends and they told Dang that his girlfriend was already married. After May's friend wedding ends. They play to casino. May maybe has a curse or bad luck bringer she didn't win at all when both of they played. When they run out of chip, her seat mate give her chips and began to draw luck where she wins a lot of money. They rent a car and begin to enjoy the moments strolling around, eating and watching landmarks in Korea. They went to mountain where people used to ski. They enjoy the days together. That night May's wants came true, Dang's just look far away as May begin to undress, it was her wish when she see a snow. After that May hold a snow ball and her hands and while Dang is laughing she put the snow on Dang's mouth. Why did you do that, it's taste is awful, Dang exclaim and May just laugh telling him that, he wants to taste the snow and both of them laugh together. Dang put a snow cap on May, caressing May's hair over and over again. They just found themselves as May's lips where held by Dang's lips. That moment a feeling grows and begin to give them an awkward feelings. A stranger kissed.

While on the road, May asked Dang if he likes May. Dang just answered, "I don't know". Since both of the stranger and May has also likes Dang was unable to express what she really likes. They argued. May wants to stop the car and walk by herself but Dang stop the car and leave May behind. It was long as the other car passes by he notice that May didn't come. Make don't know how to drive a car and Dang realize it and begin to run fast and found out the car is empty. With sadness and worry feelings Dang look for May anywhere and he went back to the hotel where they used to stay. He asked the front desk if she saw the girl she's with. Both of them didn't understand each others since Dang cannot speak in English straight. Only May is fluent in Korean language. May shouted, "I was here a moment ago. Dang heard this and began to say sorry and some tears falling a witness of true intent. He ask May if he can hug her. May said, "I didn't say no" and Dang hugged May.

The next day both of them packed to leave Korea. As they went outside. Dang's girlfriend appears. A sour moments happen. Dang introduced May to his ex-girlfriend. May was sad and just went to the airport alone. As she was about to leave she looked back and saw Dang being hugged by the girl. She feel totally lost and really broken hearted. The next thing happened is that they talk inside the airplane. Dang's wants to explained to May everything and what happened, but May refused and told him a goodbye, "hope you can say hi when see each other", both of them didn't know each others name.

Back to Thailand and while Dang get the keys a chip from the casino where they play falls he then remember everything and feels that he has lost something, very important. He was crying. A year later as they continue to do their leaving. Not having meet each other. Dang watch a live performance theater and not knowing both of them were so close to meet. On the car while going home. May turn on the radio and listen to her favorite DJ which gives advice. A call from someone got her attention and she stop the car. The voice was familiar. The caller then began to utter the words and May finally remembers those word she use to say when they play the DJ phone to talks while in Korea. The stranger then talk about his problem. Here is the conversation.

Dang: When you listen my story, please don't throw up. Last year I tour Korea. I met a lady. We traveled a few days together. I don't even know her name. But I can feel, I fall in love with her. Wow..just like romantic movie. Go out of the country, meet only few days. But she told me, maybe we just have an illusion.

DJ: Did Dang think it's an illusion?

Dang: I don't know. If I think it's illusion, I have a very long illusion. It's been over a year. I still think about her. I still want to meet her everyday. You think I should stop dreaming.

DJ: Why don't you meet and tell her?

Dang: It's very hard. I don't know anything about her.  I know only she used to play as supporting cast in the movie. And Thai movies had thousand of thousand movies. You think I can find her. Things she used to tell me, it's true. Love story only exist in the movie. you think so?

DJ: Dang, Would you like to leave your real name here? May be we can help you.

Dang: Ah..that what you want.  My name is... ... ...
